The Algerian Embassy in Helsinki has been established in 2016. This was a milestone in the history of Algerian-Finnish relationships.
The Embassy
The Embassy is located in central Helsinki, in Pohjoinen Makasiinikatu 6 A.
The Embassy was officially inaugurated by the Secretary-General of Algerian Foreign Ministry, Hassane Rabehi. It was also celebrated by the presence of the Secretary-General of the Finnish Foreign Ministry, Peter Stelund.
The Embassy started offering consular services in 2018.
H.E The Ambassador
The Head of Mission in the Embassy is H.E. Mr Mohamed Bourouba.
Ambassador of Algeria in Helsinki, Mr. Mohamed Bourouba, presented on 24 January, 2023, to H.E. Mr. Sauli Niinistö, the President of the Republic of Finland, his letters of credence accrediting him as Ambassador of Republic of Algeria in Finland.
